Snyder's Shipyard Main Sub-Contractor on Theresa E. Connor Refit
(January 2009) - Snyder's Shipyard in Dayspring, NS was recently named as the main sub-contractor in the second phase of a refit of the
schooner named THERESA E. CONNOR. The 70-year-old salt-banker is owned by the Fisheries Museum of the
Atlantic in Lunenburg, NS. The talented Snyder's shipwrights will remove and replace frames, stanchions, knight heads and planking on
both port and starboard sides of the vessel.
The job, which started early January '09, is expected to last several weeks.
