Feb, 2008: Snyder's Shipyard was awarded the contract to build a new mast for the 'Ship Hector.' Click on the photo to see the fascinating process involved in building a tradional wood mast.

City of New York
One of the first major jobs for Teddy Snyder was the major repair job on a barque called the 'Sampson' which was built in Norway in 1885 and was used by Admiral Byrd in the Antarctic. The ship was renamed the City of New York at its Snyder's relaunch.
